He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse H. Hairston, Sr. and Anna Lee Moyer Hairston; and his siblings, Alventis Gravely and Jesse H. Hairston, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Hairston; his sons, Lamont Davis (Sheree) and Donnie Hairston, Jr.; his siblings, Zanderline Terry (Len), Doris Dillard (Elder Robert), Standley Hairston (Priscilla) and Ronnie Hairston (Todd Hairston); his siblings-in-law, Yonnie Hairston and Michael L. Gravely (Sadie); and his grandchildren, Mariah Davis, Robert Davis, Nathaniel Green, Serenity Hairston and Aiyana Coles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Church (938 Brookdale St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
