She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Kester Grogan and Monnie Leake Grogan; her husband Leonard Francis Motley; her son Joseph Motley; and her brothers, Wesley Grogan and Roger Grogan.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Motley, Beth Self (John), Daniel Motley (Jennifer) and Tim Motley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKee-Stone Funeral Home (109 Broad St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (711 Church St, Ridgeway, VA 24148).
