We announce the death of Glenn Neal Marlowe (Axton, Virginia), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Rigney Marlowe and William Harvey Marlowe; and his brothers, David Marlowe, Jerry Marlowe and Kenneth Marlowe.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Younger Marlowe; his children, Angie Owen (Douglas) of Blairs, VA and Jamie Marlowe (Julia) of Callands, VA; his siblings, Tony Marlowe, Tom Marlowe (Virginia) and Donna Cassell (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Cody (Brittney), Brady (Grace), Ethan, Colby and Harley; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Haylee and Preslee; and his pet Hachi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the County Line Christian Church (12711 Chatham Rd, Axton, VA 24054). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Mt. Valley Hospice, 730 East Church Street, Martinsville, VA 24112 or to SECU Family House, 1970 Baldwin House, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
