She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Earles and Nannie Kate Pruitt Earles; her husband Gilbert "David" Maxwell; her son Kenneth Todd Hairfield; and her sisters, Nancy Gregory, Sue Dickerson, Jean Gibson, Virginia Litman and Mabel Kendall.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Hairfield; her brother Loyd C. Earles (Nancy Lee); her grandson Anthony Capo; her stepgranddaughter Leta Carroll; her great grandchild Aria Vasquez; and her close friend Shirley Hankins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
