With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Eugene Wilson of Axton, Virginia, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Benjamin Wilson and Christine Wyatt Wilson; his brothers, Harry Taylor (Carol), Dale Wilson, Billy Wilson (Carolyn) and Donald Wilson; and his brother-in-law Sherwood Philpott.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Wilson; his children, Amanda Pulliam (Richard), Tammy Hicks (Robert) and Brad Wilson (Lisa); his sister Judy Philpott; his sisters-in-law, Karen Wilson and Gail Wilson; his grandchildren, Lindsey Nester (Bryson), Natalie Wilson, Macey Wilson, Hollie Wilson, Ryland Pulliam, Robbie Hicks (Chloe) and Kiersten Hicks; and his great grandchildren, David Nester and Emerie Nester.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
