She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Garrett Smith and Leona Thornton Smith; and her husband Roger Preston Clardy. She is survived by: her son Preston Garrett Clardy (Betty) of Axton, VA; her grandchildren, Brian Clardy (Lori) and Cherie Arnn (Drew); her great grandchildren, Paityn Lipscomb (Eric), Preston Arnn and Rebecca Beaman (Ben); and her sister Sibyl Hutcherson (Kenneth).
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson Chapel (4437 Medical Center Rd, Axton, VA 24054).
