She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Thomas Parrish and Martha Ferrell Parrish; her former husband James Pyrtle; and her siblings, Charlie Parrish, Clayton Parrish, Mary Francis Parrish and Frances Parrish of Missouri.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Pyrtle (Diane), Jerry Pyrtle of Axton, VA, Judy Jordan (Charlie) of Florence, SC and Sherry Pyrtle of Axton, VA; and her brother Clifton "Tip" Parrish. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
