He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Williams, Sr. and Mabel Carter Williams; and his siblings, Bernice Williams, Thelma McKenzie, Bonnie Carter, Dottie Hairston, Coy Williams, Charlie Williams, Jr., Randolph Williams and Matthew Williams, Sr..
He is survived by : his wife Ruth Leftwich Williams; his sons, Upoleon Williams (Karen) of Roanoke, VA, Sylvester Williams (Simone) of Huntersville, NC and Rodney Williams of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Joyce Martin (Samuel) of Martinsville, VA, Tiny Williams (Ernest Wooding) of Danville, VA, Judy Wilson (Roger, Sr.) of Myrtle Beach, SC and David Williams (Maggie) of Cascade, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
