Wilbert W. Tomlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilbert W. Tomlin of Aylett, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Tomlin and Mary Lee Shifflett Tomlin; his wife Linda Hicks Tomlin; and his siblings, John Nathaniel "Pete" Tomlin, Eleanor Tomlin and Martha Vernell Duling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra G. Helmick (Shaun) and Cheryl T. James (Lee); his grandchildren, Wesley (Samantha), Brooke (Phillip), Amanda (Matt), Joshua, David, Nikki, Ashley and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Kairi, Phillip, Jr. and Soren; and his adoptive daughter Tracy Steveson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
