He is survived by: his wife Anita Maiden Ranson; his children, Marie Lamm, Crystal Ranson and Justin Winn Ranson (Jackie); his grandchildren, Kylie, Natalie, Scarlett Ranson, Madelynn, Gabrielle, Olivia and Myles Lamm; and his brother John Justis Ranson (Beth) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monaghan Funeral Home (7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
