It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Ray Lam of Barboursville, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Floyd Lam Sr. and Clara Mae Beasley Lam; his siblings, Roger Lee Lam, William Floyd Lam Jr., Bonnie "Sue" Johnson, Janet Rebecca Shelton and Audrey Faye Lettner; and his sons, Brandon Ray Lam and Cecil Floyd "CJ" Lam.
He is survived by: his fiancée Ellen C. Murphy; his son Joshua Wayne Lam; his grandson Camden Wyatt Lam; his daughter Kayla Renea Lam (Trevor Fletcher); his grandchildren, Brayden DeVoe Fletcher and Madison Marie Fletcher; his daughter Brandi Mae Lam; his sisters, Gladys "Marie" McAllister (Ernest "Sonny" McAllister) and Barbara Ann Vanover; his close friend James "Jimmy" North; and his cousin Carol Beasley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
