He was predeceased by: his parents, George Preston and Sadie Ruthe White; his wife Freda Lorraine White; and his brothers, Richard G. White (Elsie) and Carroll J. White.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Underwood (Howard) of Barboursville and Bonnie Adkins of Barboursville; his grandchildren, Jennifer Speich (Eric), Jonathan Duncan, Juliet Duncan and Sherry Burger; and his great grandchildren, Harper Speich, Kendall Speich, Elizabeth Burger and Emily Burger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Animal Care Foundation 11141 Old U.S. Hwy 52 #3, Winston-Salem, NC 27107; or a local no-kill animal foundation.
