With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ron Eugene Johnson of Barren Springs, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Arlene Skaggs Johnson; his wife Carolyn Russ Johnson; his brothers, Jesse Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Louie Johnson; and his mother-in-law Frances Russ.
He is survived by: his children, Jay (Amanda Johnson), Arlie (Luke Kincer) and Rondha (Brandon Kitts); his siblings, Brenda McKenny of Ohio, Orville Johnson of Wroster, OH and Johnny Johnson of Wroster, OH; his grandchildren, Emily, Jaycob, Slade and Bella; and his great grandchild Brolee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many extended family.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home (2214 Austinville Rd, Austinville, VA 24312).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to local retirement homes.
