He was predeceased by: his parents, David H. Shively, Sr. and JoAnn Ingram Shively; his wife Cynthia Shively; his children, Jeffery David Shively, Sr. and Jennifer Marie Shively; and his brother Samuel James Shively.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Jeffery Shively, Jr., Chase Shively and Jayden Shively; his sisters, Sherry Fulton, Nancy Jefferson (Ron) and Elizabeth Shively (Darryl); and his stepsiblings, Deena Whitlow (Bill), Renee Fulcher (Jeff) and Ricky Handy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Bowles Family Cemetery.
