He was predeceased by: his parent McKinley "Papa Mac" Quessenberry; and his brother Ed Martin. He is survived by: his mother Willie Mae Hopkins Quessenberry; his wife Rebecca B. Martin; his children, Tonya Woods, Amy Osborne (Jeff), Donald Martin, Jr. (Robyn), James Smith, Jr. (Sonia) and Quincy Smith (Jessica); and his sister Brenda Brogan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his beloved fur babies; and a host of other relatives and friends.
