It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Akridge Norman of Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Akridge and Christine Lewis Akridge; and her siblings, Matthew Akridge, Joseph Akridge, Johnny Akridge, Robert Akridge, Hattie Edwards, Mary Akridge and Hastie Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Norman, Tracy Norman, Trevor Norman, Warren Norman and Angela Small; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Akridge and Marie Akridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
