He is survived by: his children, Sherry Brooks, Shirley Brooks and Larry James "Junior" Brooks, Jr.; and his brothers, Roger Brooks, Paul T. Brooks and Melvin G. Brooks. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
