With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Peters Scott of Bassett, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Peters and Clara Peters; and her brother Wilson Peters. She is survived by: her children, Paula June Elliott (Marty), Donna Gail Anderson, Gerry Lester Massey and Terry Lee Massey (Sally); her grandchildren, Mark Taylor, Jennifer Morris, Jamie Morris, Jeremy Massey, Heather Boardwine, Matthew King and Whitney Chaffin; and her sister-in-law Donna Peters. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
