Lois Peters Scott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Peters Scott of Bassett, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Peters and Clara Peters; and her brother Wilson Peters. She is survived by: her children, Paula June Elliott (Marty), Donna Gail Anderson, Gerry Lester Massey and Terry Lee Massey (Sally); her grandchildren, Mark Taylor, Jennifer Morris, Jamie Morris, Jeremy Massey, Heather Boardwine, Matthew King and Whitney Chaffin; and her sister-in-law Donna Peters. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
