She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hall and Algia Martin Hall; her husband William D. Brim; her siblings, Patricia Jameson, Cornelia Ferguson, Cleo Hall and Clay Hall; her niece Teresa Ann Hylton; and her nephews, Ronald Hall and Mark Witt.

She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Elgin (Bruce); her grandchildren, Amanda Elgin Hutchinson and Chris Elgin; her great grandchildren, Adaleigh Hutchinson, Aurora Hutchinson, Jude Hutchinson and Walker Elgin; and her sister Liz Witt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant View Baptist Church Building Fund or Patrick Henry Volunteer Fire Department.
