He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Atkins and Lolene Ingram Atkins; his stepdaughter Suzanne Williams; his sister Janice Dillon; and his brother-in-law Marvin Dillon.
He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Carswell (Matt); his stepson Jamie Earles (Samantha); and his sisters, Jackie Johnston, Dianne Anderson (Mark) and Lee Atkins (Teresa). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; with numerous extended family.
