It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Darrell Linkous Sr. of Bastian, Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Linkous and Phyllis Gillenwater Linkous; and his siblings, Timmy Linkous, Rebecca Linkous and Patty Lane.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Kilgore Linkous; his children, Danny Linkous (Leanne) of Bluefield, VA and Melissa LaRue (Steven) of Princeton, WV; his grandchildren, Kamran Cantrell, Cody LaRue, Christa Scarberry (Michael), Kali Fitzgerald (Jordan), Eric Linkous and Logan Hollyfield; his great grandchildren, Tempy Scarberry, Maverick Scarberry and Bennett Fitzgerald; and his brother Ronnie Linkous. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
