It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas William Stowers of Bastian, Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Grat Johnson Stowers and Ruth Jones Stowers; his wife Brenda Carolyn Collier Stowers; and his siblings, Virginia Rose Stowers, Harry and Ralph Stowers.

He is survived by : his children, Emily Stowers Danner of Moreno Valley, CA and Colby Stowers of Okinawa Japan; and his grandchildren, Lucas Danner of Moreno Valley, CA, Lora Danner of Moreno Valley, CA, Kendrick Stowers of Okinawa Japan and William Stowers of Okinawa Japan.
