He was predeceased by: his parents, Turrel Clevinger and Alice Clevinger (McClanahan); his son Danny Clevinger; his siblings, Virgil Clevinger, Estel Clevinger, Herb Clevinger and Loviss Matney; and his sisters-in-law, Violet Clevinger and Evon Clevinger.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Clevinger (Looney) of Bastian, VA; his children, Teresa Elkins (Jeff) of Bastian, VA, Tammie Lester Jr. (Earl) and Denny Clevinger (Diane) of Bastian, VA; his siblings, Amil Clevinger, Vernal Clevinger, Larry Clevinger, Emil Clevinger and Ann Stiltner; his grandchildren, Misty Bush (Brian), Selina Danielle (Matt), Ben (Amber), Ethan (Lexi), Sylvia Street and Denny Jr. Clevinger (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Zac Justus (Mimi), Natasha (Jamie), Kyla Harville (Codey) and Ethan Lester Jr.; and his great great grandchildren, Danny Lee, Gaberiel, Samuel Justus, Emma Leah, Rylana, Danie Jackson, Josie Justus and Bryson Harville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethlehem Old Regular Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Stiltner Family Cemetery.
