We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 74, Henry Jackson Collins Jr. of Bastian, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jackson Collins, Sr. and Dorothy Beryl Bailey Collins; his grandchildren, Sidney, Patricia and Madeline Earls; and his close friend Donald Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Juanita Broomfield Collins; his children, Candie Earls (Jay Markell) of Roanoke, VA, Heather Colson of Virginia Beach, VA, Jack Collins (Bre Brewster) of Springville, VA and Dee Dee Collins of Springville, VA; his grandchildren, Nathan Collins, Kendra Earls, Trevor Collins, Katie Colson, Eric Colson, Joselyn Brewster and Damien Markell; his siblings, Mark Collins (Tammy) of Bozoo, Jeannie Hill (Richard) of Lerona and Beth Mathena of Lerona; his stepchildren, Buster Broomfield of Florida and Wanda Perdue of Bluefield, VA; his brothers-in-law, Johnny, Floyd, Roger and Jimmy Broomfield; and the mother of his children Judith "Judy" Collins of Springville, VA.. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Seaver Funeral Home (1507 N Walker St, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
