Kevin Dent Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Dent of Bastian, Virginia, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Dent and Margaret Ann Dent Fisher; and his parents-in-law, Trandal and Carolyn Strange. He is survived by: his wife Selina Dent; his children, Callie Dent and Christian Dent; his pet Dega; his close friend Lulu; his siblings, Samuel Dent of Bland, Brian Dent, Ariana Hall of Austinsville, Michelle (Robert Albert) and Steve; and his sister-in-law Emilee Strange of Warsaw Ohio. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Kevin's honor to the Bland County High School Athletic Dept., 361 Bears Trail, Bastian, VA 24314.
