“Ken helped shepherd me through my early days with the U.S. Marine Band. Over the years he became a trusted friend, giving me his ear on many occasions when I was experiencing personal problems on the cornet. We played next to one another on many gigs and traded many laughs together. I am saddened by his loss and send my heartfelt condolences to Polly, Lisa, and family. Tim Erdman”
