He was predeceased by : his wife Karen Louise Bailey; his siblings, David Bailey, Roger Bailey (Rachel), Timothy Brahm and Gloria Bailey; and his parents, John Bailey and Hester Bailey.

He is survived by : his sister Carol Farrell (William "Butch" Farrell); and his grandchildren, Pierce Gorman, Luka Gorman, Alex Bailey and Jesse Murphy. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
