With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Sue Sanderson of Bedford, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur "Sandy" Sanderson; her son Steven Sanderson; and her sister Patricia Kuhblank. She is survived by: her son Shane; her daughter-in-law Tiffany Sanderson of Spanishburg, WV; her daughter Shelby; her son-in-law Brian Stewart of Bedford, VA; her granddaughters, Samantha Boyles (Trey Boyles) of Bedford, VA and Kendall Laurencin (Brandon Laurencin) of Lancaster, SC; and her great grandchildren, Madilynn, Bryson Boyles and Australian Shepherd.
