He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Dooley Key; and his siblings, John, Willie Jr., Thomas, James, Clark, Robert, Mildred, Merle, May, Helen, Nadine, Mary Nell and Pat.
He is survived by: his children, Dallas Key (Donna), Dale Key (Victoria), Terry Key and Teresa Key Lipscomb (Wayne); and his siblings, Bobo Key (Gloria) and Judy Key Dickerson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
