She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis Downs and Mary Christine Campbell Hurt. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Wimmer; her daughter Debby Wimmer Bratton (Jan); and her grandsons, Dakota Austin Wimmer and J. W. Bratton. She is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.
