He is survived by: his wife Julie Ellestad-Hertig; his parents, Willis H Hertig and Camilla B Hertig (Booth) of Alpena, WV; his sons, Brian (Tracy), Christian (Sonya) and David; his stepsons, Logan Alborn, Clayton Alborn, Brian Hare and Joel Hare; his grandchildren, Hunter, Cameron, Zachary, Aaron and Emma; and his siblings, Charlotte and Eric (Lynn).
