We are sad to announce that, on December 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to David Thomas of Bedford, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maynard Thomas, Sr. and Eileen Holcomb Thomas; and his brother John Maynard Thomas, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Dewitt Thomas; his children, Stacey Elizabeth Thomas Arrington (Kent) and Wendy Leigh Thomas Knott (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Sidney Alyse Puckette (Brannon), Ethan Thomas Grey Arrington and Emma Elizabeth Arrington (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Atlas Thomas Dinwiddie and Zara Elizabeth Poole; his sister Barbara Saunders (Ronnie); and his sister-in-law Jane R. Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Bedford Baptist Church and the Bedford Fire Department.
