We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, at the age of 92, Eugene Austin Bowyer (Bedford, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Austin Bowyer and Rosa Mae Bowyer; his wife Doris Ann Bowyer; and his daughter Sheila Ann Bowyer. He is survived by: his children, Fred A. Bowyer (Betty), Debra Jean Bowyer, Carlton E. Bowyer (Sherry) and Rosa B. Dinwiddie; his grandchildren, Chris Bowyer (Gina), Misty Bowyer, Brandie Martin, Carl Bowyer (Melinda), Jamie Bowyer (Carl), Shanon Hogan, Tyler Dinwiddie (Alina) and Dustin Dinwiddie (Brooke); and his sister Faye Bland. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
