He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merton Woods and Mabel Christine Herndon Woods; his former wife Charlotte Ann Moyer Woods; his grandsons, Brett Austin Smith and Billy Tibbs; Anne-Marie Woods Overstreet.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Perry Woods; his children, Hal Tibbs (Twinkle), Garry Tibbs (Connie), Steven Dinwiddie (Pam), Teresa Tibbs Eger (Billy), Christine Smith (Jeff) and Kimberly Pineda (Charlie); and his siblings, Christine Carol Moser (Paul) and Rev. Colonel Charles E. Woods. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
