He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Spaulding, Sr. and Loretta Spaulding; and his brothers, Pete Spaulding and Rick Spaulding. He is survived by: his wife Anita Zoppi Spaulding; his children, Jessica Spaulding Trussell (Mark) and Kevin Spaulding (Natalie); his grandchildren, Marley and Pax Spaulding; and his brother John Spaulding (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burch-Messier Funeral Home (371 W Main St, Bedford, VA 24523). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Catholic Church (1307 Oakwood St, Bedford, VA 24523).
