He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Thomas Hudson and Rosie Bixby Hudson; and his siblings, Larry Hudson, Gene Hudson, Eldridge Hudson, James Hudson, Charles Hudson, William Hudson, Alice Eubank and Clarice King.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Hudson (Tiana) of Gretna, Traci Thompson of Gretna and Heather VanDerHyde (Chris) of Altavista; his siblings, Artie Hudson (Terry), Julia Swain, Louise Nichols, Barbara Collins and Ruth Pierce; and his grandchildren, Chris Thompson (Rebeca) and Jonah Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery (812 Country Club Rd, Hurt, VA 24563).
