Lawrence Wayne Bowles Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Wayne Bowles of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Veda Conner Bowles and Thomas Fitzhugh Bowles of Roanoke; and his son-in-law Bernard Gauci of Malta. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Michele Gauci of South Orange and Rhonda Gardner of Bedford; his grandchildren, Joseph Lawrence Gardner of Duck and Margaret Anne Fitzhugh; and his daughter Molly. He is also survived by his daughters and grandchildren.

Monk was a devoted son to his parents and his aunt as they grew older and needed care, especially his mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's.
