Lynda Tuck Obituary
We announce the death of Lynda Tuck of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Lynda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Green Bolling and Angie Barbour Bolling; her husband Marshall Adolph Tuck; and her siblings, Pauline Martin, Edith Maxey, Estelle Gearheart, Malcolm Bolling, Russell Bolling, Richard "Onex" Bolling, Odell Bolling, Ray Bolling and Clanton Bolling.
She is survived by: her children, Van Tuck (Melanie) and Melody Key (Ricky); her siblings, Kathleen Wilkerson (Page), Magdeline Patterson and J. R. "Buddy" Bolling; her sister-in-law Helen Bolling; her brother Billy; her sister-in-law Linda Creasey; and her grandchildren, Megan Giles (Hunter), Brittany Jones (Jarid), Crysta Rector (Josh) and Mikala Vaughn (Jesse). She is also survived by Eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Chapel (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tuck Family Cemetery.
