She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilary M. Bowyer and Earle Davenport Bowyer; her husband John Quarles Whorley; her siblings, James Bowyer, Bobby Bowyer, Laverne Mitchell, Esther Ashley (Robert) and Shirley M. Bowyer; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby M. Whorley and JoAnne W. Bobbitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon W. Overstreet (Dennis), Carol W. Key (Grant) and John M. Whorley; her granddaughters, Mandy O. Johnson (Brad), Ann Elizabeth Key (Aaron) and Mary Margaret Key-Lasley (Tim); her great grandchildren, Sadie, Maci and Grady Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Carleen Bowyer, Delores Bowyer and Marshall Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
