She is survived by: her son Brancen D. Gates; her siblings, Cathy Watson (Tommy), Debbie Hicks (Don) and Donnie Moore; her grandson Alex Gates; her great grandchildren, Callie Gates and Jaxon Gates; and her nieces, Angela Sheriff and E. B. Watson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
