She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy M. Bryant and Erselle Noell Bryant; her husband Jimmy D. Powers; her son Roy Bennett Massie; and her brother Robert Bryant.
She is survived by: her son Calvin "C. W."; her daughter-in-law Patty Massie of Charlottesville; her daughter Tonya Scott of Forest; her sisters-in-law, Rachel Bryant of Bedford and Barbara Mitchell of Huddleston; her grandchildren, Meaghan Massie of Charlottesville, Hunter Scott of Richmond and Larkin Orme (William) of Madison Heights; her great grandchild Addison Marie Massie of Charlottesville; her foster sisters, Beth Baker, Laura Hale and Brenda Ellis; her children, Cindy Davis, Linda Driscoll, Kimberly Evans, Jennia Updike, Mercedes Baker, Angela Romero, Starr Sloan, Jessica Francisco, Shannon Akers, Brittany Bledsoe, Cassie Tincher, Luz Vega Burch and Sadie Mullins; and her foster son Jacob Barricks.
