She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth West and William Downs; her grandparents, Anna, William Hill, Annie and William Downs; and her siblings, Richard Downs, William Downs and Brenda Wimmer.

She is survived by: her sister Melody Baker; her daughter Desiree Hedrick; and her granddaughter Kitana Stokes. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
