She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Mearl Gilbert and Phyllis Marr Witt; and her brothers, Jesse Mearl Gilbert, Jr. and Thomas Randall Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Blizzard; her children, Matthew Bryant, Joshua Williams and Megan Parker; and her sisters, Cindy Currin (Don) and Donna Evans (Dennis).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to SJC Warming Shelter and Shower & Suds Ministry at St John's Episcopal Church or an organization close to her heart.
