We are sad to announce that, on October 11, 2022, at the age of 82, Willard Dean Wood of Bedford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis DeWitt Wood and Florine Gross Wood; his son Ronald Dean Wood; and his brother Edward Wood. He is survived by: his wife Doris McKinney Wood; his son Jeffrey T. Wood of Raleigh, NC; his daughter-in-law Sandy Croft Wood; his grandsons, Scott Wood (Megan), Seth Wood and Stevie Wood; his great grandchild Mackenzie Wood; and his siblings, Cecil Wood, Steve Wood (Shirley), Audrey Howard, Lois Wood, Ellen Vaughan (Russell) of Alabama, Naomi Davis (Dave) of Alabama and McKinney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
