We bid farewell to Kirby Bowden (Belle Haven, Virginia), born in Chincoteague, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Kirby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Heidi Bowden Thornton; and his brothers, Bobby Bowden and Danny Bowden. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gladden Bowden of Elizabeth City, NC; his daughter Jill Koch (Richard) of Elizabeth City, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Thornton, Wyatt Thornton and Kirby Thornton.
The military honors will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Belle Haven Cemetery.
