He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ford Bowman, Sr. and Nancy Martin Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Elizabeth Buckland; his children, David Bowman, Daniel Bowman and Kristina Davis; and his siblings, Lee Bowman and Judy Turner. He is also survived by many other relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Church (3050 Lee Hwy, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
