It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ocelia Gretchen DeWeese of Bent Mountain, Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Manning and Hattie Manning; and her siblings, Vincent, Maynard and Janie.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip DeWeese (Billie Jo), Cindy K. Manning and Bruce DeWeese (Kathie); her grandchildren, Jason Manning, Travis DeWeese, Dustin Manning, Lisa K. Manning, Elisha Cuddy (Brian), Kevin Manning, Kristen Beckner (Tyler) and Noah DeWeese (Autumn); and her sisters-in-law, Lois Rock and Josephine Barksdale (Bill). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
