He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Cheeks and Beulah McKinnon Cheeks; and his sister Gloria Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia I. Cheeks of Bentonville; his granddaughter Selei Buracker of Norfolk, Virginia; his godchildren, Bob Love of Lufkin, Mike Love of Lufkin, Bruce Love of Lufkin, Zachary Keyser of Frederick, Maryland and Kelly Adams of Manassas, Virginia; his siblings, Regina Medlin of San Antonio, Rebecca Keyser of Damascus, Maryland and Roy E. Cheeks of Harpers Ferry; his siblings-in-law, Linda Bates of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Donald M. Ingram of Kearneysville; and his pets, Peanut and Chicka.
