He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gwyer and Rita Albert Gwyer; and his sister Susan Gerard. He is survived by: his wife Clare Gwyer; and his siblings, Joseph Gwyer Jr. (Linda), Andrew Gwyer (Maura), Norma Gwyer (Mark Bachinski) and Ann Marie Patton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
