He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Herb" Herbert, Jr. and Alda Lee Sherman Dove; and his wife Victoria "Vicki" Diehl. He is survived by: his son Nathan Dove (Crystal) of Criders; his granddaughter Calie Dove of Criders; and his brother Larry F. Dove of Mathias, WV..
